About Volume

Volume is a sustainable handbag brand that transforms discarded plastic wrappers and polythene bags into unique, handcrafted bags using traditional handloom techniques. No electricity, no chemicals—just pure, conscious craftspersonship that helps reduce waste and create livelihoods.

Our products are crafted by skilled female artisans and stitched by women from humble backgrounds. Every bag supports fair wages and dignified employment.

Each bag diverts 15–40 pieces of plastic waste from landfills or water bodies. By choosing Volume, you support upcycling, handmade production, and low-impact processes.

No two Volume bags are exactly the same. The beauty of our process lies in its imperfections—each piece is one-of-a-kind, with slight variations in colour and texture based on the waste material used.

Orders & Payments

We accept all major payment methods:

  • Credit & Debit Cards
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Net Banking
  • Wallets

If your payment doesn’t go through, try:

  • Refreshing the page or trying a different browser
  • Trying a different payment method

Our website is protected with SSL encryption, this means the information you input is encrypted and it will not be available for third parties.

Shipping & Delivery

Yes, we offer free shipping across India on all standard orders placed on our website.

Orders are usually dispatched within 2–5 working days and take 3–10 working days to arrive, depending on your location. Delivery timelines may vary during peak seasons or due to courier delays.

Yes! You’ll receive tracking details via email or message once your order has been shipped.

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, email us at [email protected] with your order number and updated address. We’ll do our best to accommodate the change.

Returns and exchanges

We currently do not accept returns, as each product is handmade and unique. However, if you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We accept exchanges within 7 days of delivery for unused products in original condition with tags and packaging intact. To request an exchange, email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason.
Note: Exchanges are not applicable for custom-made, personalized, or bulk orders.

You’ll need to ship it to our studio. Once your item is inspected and approved, we’ll process your exchange. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

Care and Repairs

Yes! We offer free basic repairs to extend the life of your Volume bag. Email us with photos and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

  • Wipe gently with a damp cloth to clean
  • If stain persists then wipe gently with soap water using a cloth and let it dry
  • Avoid soaking or machine washing
  • Store in a dry place, away from sharp objects
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight while storing it

Our handwoven plastic fabric is strong but delicate—treat it with love!
